SERVICES FOR ADULTS

All programs listed below, except for Norther East Alberta Fetal Alcohol Network (NEAFAN), require a professional referral from Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) in order to access them.

INDEPENDENT LIVING WITH SUPPORT (ILS) / SPECIALIZED ILS

The Independent Living with Supports programs provides flexible support within the person’s  home or community to help them become as independent as possible.  Services include support with community involvement, medical appointments, employment search and finding an apartment.

SHARED LIVING / ASSISTED LIVING

The Shared Living program offers flexible services to adults with disabilities based on their interests, dreams, and desires. Individuals live in a shared home and receive up to 24-hour staff support. Services include community involvement, family participation and the development of a natural support network.

SUPPORT HOME

The Support Home program is a home-based environment where we offer flexible services to adults with disabilities based on their interests, dreams, and desires. The program assists individuals to live life to the fullest, to achieve their personal goals and to become as independent as possible.

SPECIALIZED SUPPORTS FOR INDEPENDENCE (SSI)

The Specialized Supports for Independence program provides 24-hour staffing supports to adults with disabilities who are also struggling with the challenges of homelessness and addiction.

SUPPORTED COMMUNITY ACCESS NETWORK (SCAN)

The Supported Community Access Network program provides day program activities for adults with disabilities including employment support and recreation/leisure/volunteering opportunities.

The North East Alberta Fetal Alcohol Network is designed to provide education, information, support, resources, mentoring services, coaching and advocacy to anyone living with or impacted by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).

Offered In:  Fort McMurray and surrounding areas.
