Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a community-based program that
provides housing and support to young people between the ages of 15 and 22. We help the young people in the program to acquire the skills and experience needed to make a successful transition to independence and adulthood.
The Supported Independent Living Program offers three types of accommodation with varying levels of support:

(1) Individual accommodation in which the young person lives in his/her own apartment in the community;
(2) Semi-independent living in which the young person lives in his/her own apartment within a staffed building;
(3) Transitional independent living within a staffed house in the community.
