McMan Alberta is divided operationally into five independent regions: Southeast, Southwest, Central, Calgary, and Edmonton / North.

Each region is governed by a local board of directors, responsible for developing and delivering the programs and services most needed within their own area. The local boards are also responsible for recruiting and hiring the professional and support staff needed to run the programs and services in their area, liaising and coordinating with local community services and agencies, and for recruiting the volunteers who help in so many ways.

Board members are chosen for their professional expertise, their knowledge of local needs, issues and realities, and for their commitment to the children, youth and families of their communities.
