Flexible innovative programs designed to meet the changing and challenging interests, dreams, desires and needs of individuals with varying Abilities

WHO WE ARE:

  • Supports for People with DisAbilities was established in 1988
  • Supports for People with DisAbilities is community-based, individualized service area that focuses on fostering greater independence and involvement in the community for individuals with special needs.
  • The programs provide a variety of services on an individual basis to people of any age with varying abilities and challenges
  • We currently provide supports to approximately 170 individuals in a variety of service options

WHAT DO WE DO:

  • Providing activities that encourage independence
  • Providing choices for individuals
  • Increasing the number of community activities individuals access
  • Helping individuals to enhance their status as they participate in activities
  • Enhancing Natural Supports
  • Working with challenges that have an impact on the persons life

WHAT SERVICES DO WE OFFER:

1. Shared Living:
Provides people with up to 24 hour support in their home

2. Support Home:
Provides people with family or roommate support

3. Independent Living with Supports:
Provides people with individualized assistance as requested.

4. Day Program:
Supported Community Access provides employment, training, and recreation/ leisure opportunities.

Outreach program providing 1 to 1 vocational services in the community

5. Supports for People with Brain Injury:
Provides people who have acquired brain injuries with individualized assistance as requested
