YTA provides housing and support services to youth between the ages of 15 and 22 who are involved with Children's Services and require assistance to develop the skills and responsibilities necessary to live independently. The youth may share accommodations with a skilled adult mentor or may live in their own apartment in the community.
The Launch Pad is a five-unit apartment building that provides affordable housing for youth who are homeless or aging out of the foster care system. An on site resident manager assists youth with their transition and encourages them to maintain a successful housing placement through mentorship and “teachable moments”.
