As part of the Alberta Government's 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness, McMan's Housing First program provides access to permanent housing, intensive case management and wrap around supports to our chronically homeless citizens. Housing First is an alternative to the current system of emergency shelter/transitional housing and is premised on the belief that vulnerable and at-risk homeless families are more responsive to interventions and social services support after they are in their own housing, rather than while living in temporary or transitional facilities or housing programs.
